Sounds like you are overloading the running light trailer wiring circuit of your truck and that is why the lights aren't wanting to illuminate properly.

You can ensure your re-wired Haulmark 5 x 8 enclosed trailer has the legally-required lighting by referring to the linked article that covers DOT trailer lighting requirements. Another good way to proceed is to make sure you have no fewer lights/reflectors than what was installed by the trailer manufacturer. You may well be able to usefully install more lights for enhanced visibility but I do not recommend using any fewer.

For a replacement tail light you can use the Wesbar Low Profile Trailer Tail Light # 403026 if you are needing to replace the driver side light or the # 403076 for the passenger side.
These lights have the exact same slots on the back to mount them to your trailer so they will be an exact replacement.

It appears your lights are obsolete from Wesbar. As I was unable to find your exact lights you might consider the LED Trailer License Plate Light # LPL82CBB. This light is submersible, mounts with studs and the LED lights are very bright. This light uses a 2 wire connection which you can add a Ring Terminal # DW05737-1 to connect the ground to one of the mounting studs so you only need to connect your power wire. view full answer...
The light on your Tracker boat trailer is the right hand ST36 series trailer light from Optronics as is the # ST36RB, that you referenced on our website. They are essentially the same light, but Optronics has been known to make slight changes to their lights from time to time. The closest we have are the LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn, Backup - Submersible - 16 Diodes - Oval - Clear Lens # STL211RCB that measure 6-7/16" long x 2-5/16" tall x 1-1/2" deep. These install with the PVC Grommet for 6-1/2" Oval Trailer Tail Lights # A70GB which should account for the measurement differences you mentioned.

The Optronics Tall Rectangle Submersible LED Trailer Tail Light, part # STL56RB, should work on your Shoreland'r trailer. The same light for the left side of the trailer is the Optronics Submersible LED Trailer Tail Light, part # STL57RB. The part number you referenced is for the tail light lens you have on your Jayco trailer, but I may have a solution for you.
From my research I found that some of the 1998 Jayco trailers had a tail light like part # 30-92-001. This is a rectangle light that has stop, turn, and tail light for the passenger side. The best way to find a compatible efficient LED-type trailer light to replace the incandescent units on your trailer is to remove one of the existing lights to see how it is wired and how it mounts. (The Shoreland'r website does not provide specs for the lighting products used on their trailers.) If your current light uses a 2-prong plug and separate ground wire like the Wesbar # 271594 then this will be a good choice. This light mounts using two supplied screws, lockwashers and nuts.
